Individual Memberships

Here are some of the benefits you receive as an STTA member:

  • All registered members of the STTA; are also an affiliated member of the Canadian Table Tennis Association.
  • All members of your club are eligible to compete in Provincial / National sanctioned tournaments and programs. This would include our "Start with Bronze" school provincial tournament.
  • Any individual member that submits their e-mail address will receive the STTA and CTTA newsletters electronically.
  • Each member is covered under the Association insurance while participating in sanctioned events, training and traveling to and from events at no cost

Club Membership

In addition to the Individual memberships, club membership benefits are:

  • Each club is entitled to a free clinic.
  • All clubs will receive the "Nets and Edges" Newsletter.
  • Clubs may qualify for Membership Assistance Program Grants (MAP).

Membership Assistance Program (MAP) Grant

PURPOSE:
The purpose of MAP is to provide financial assistance to our affiliated membership so that they may operate programs and offer services that will encourage and promote membership for their clubs. This grant is made available to the STTA through assistance of Saskatchewan Lotteries Trust Fund for Sport, Culture and Recreation, which derive proceeds from the sale of lottery tickets in Saskatchewan.
The Saskatchewan Table Tennis Association has formed a committee that will review all grant requests and recommend approval.

ELIGIBILITY:
Funds may be available to those clubs, which are a member in good standing of the STTA. Some eligible expenses are additional clinic expenses, equipment purchases or lease, expenses to host a tournament and expenses while attending tournaments.

APPLICATION POLICIES AND PROCEDURES:

1. MAP Spending Plan forms should be typewritten, signed by the club president and sent to:

2. The deadline for applications is December 31, 2004.
3. Late or improperly completed requests will be returned to the applicant.
4. One completed spending plan application form is required for each type of assistance requested.
5. Capital expenditures, such as construction, upgrading and maintenance, wages, cash prizes, and social events are ineligible expenditures.
6. All applications are subject to approval of the STTA.


MAP Grant Follow-up Forms (can be downloaded here )
1. Upon spending the grant funds, a Follow-up form must be completed.
2. The follow-up forms must be submitted by May 31,2005.
3. All receipts must be attached to the Follow-up.
